Заинтересовала свиная тема. "pearls before the pig’s snout" будет понятно англояз. товарищам? Не "pearls before swine"?

I'm more concerned that it is not "pig's" but "someone's" [upturned] snout. I could live without [upturned] but I don't like this "pig's" addition of mine.
