Hi,
Couple of questions from the newbie to the LT's "old-timers":
Were there instances of translations lost on LT?
How trustworthy current backup system is?
Should we be worried of data loss?
Please understand, that while it is easy to do independent backups on my own, it doesn't make much sense, since I constantly reviewing and editing my translations there on website, so they are not one and done thing, which would be convenient to back up.
Thank you.

I remember it happening on a single time due to a serious system bug, but it didn't last long, only 2 hours or so. And only 5 translations or so were lost.

I think a 'data backup' feature has been suggested before - if an user wanted to, he could have access to all content added by him (translations), but as I don't know much of technical issues, I don't know if this is possible.

Thank you, Alma.
I guess I'm just a bit paranoid after witnessing one major data loss elsewhere.
Short-term losses are understandable and could be lived with.
