Hello, who will say what is OST (Original sound track) and what is Collection? What is the difference between its? Why should all the songs played in the series be added to the Collection and not to the OST? OST by definition the entire sound, sounding in a movie or in series.

In my short experience of less than 2 years, songs used to exist under OST rather than individual artist - just like what Jules did. Collection is a concept that isn't as effective as gathering songs under OST. But, it is an option available to make any grouping of songs.

So the songs that sound in the movie need to be added to the OST of this movie or to the Collection?

The rule is the following.

If a song is written to be played in a movie/series (so it's an original song) then it belongs to a OST page. See here an example: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/frozen-ost-lyrics.html

If a song is covered for a movie, it can be considered part of a OST too: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/mamma-mia-lyrics.html-0

If an existing song is played fully or partially in a movie or series, it belongs on the artist page and the show can be included in the "also performed by" field or in a collection (in case there are more songs played). If the song uses the same recording, so it's not a different performance, it must not be copied elsewhere, since it would be a duplicate. See example here: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/collection/songs-supernatural

In my opinion, all that sounds in the film is OST. It is impossible to throw out from the movie neither a phrase, nor a melody, nor a song. It's a whole. For example, in YouTube they give a ban if someone without the knowledge of the rightholders places someone's song or melody in their video. Therefore OST is official. It's not a collection.

I'm not sure I understood what you said, your speech was a bit rambling. But anyway, when you go buy a movie soundtrack on iTunes or play it on Spotify, songs which are not written specifically for the show are not included, because they belong to their original artists, not to the show.

In any case, we don't want to have several duplicates of the same performance on the website, because they would create pointless confusion. Hence, we're not repeating them when it's not necessary.
