Hello.
I added a translation on April 12, 2019. Then somebody added a new translation on September 2, 2019. But her translation is #1 and mine is #2
How can it be possible?
This is totally not fair. And her translation is obviously wrong.

Here is mine: https://lyricstranslate.com/tr/make-it-right-yoluna-sokmak.html

Maybe it's per alphabetical order? At least it is nerver chronological. (Try and put an "A" in front of your title...)

Apparently translations are numbered in reverse chronological order: #1 will always be the most recent and the oldest one will come last.
For the last shall be first, and the first shall be last. Teeth smile

What's the difference what number is yours? Nobody chooses translation by numbers and there is a time stamp in case there is a dispute. If the other translation is lacking, leave your comments that need to be specific.

And about "it isn't fair" - weren't you taught that nobody promised that it would be? 😏

Nobody is getting paid for publishing translations, and Internet glory is the worst kind of fool's gold.
If people can't make the difference between a decent and a terrible translation, what is their appreciation worth?

Sir, you have the biggest like I give to anyone on this site Regular smile Here all we are for help; I don't care if there are 1, 2 or even 10 translation in front of mine, I know well that people, most of it, on this site will appreciate their beauty regardless you were 1rst or 10 th position (it's not a ranking in which we vote: the best and the worst) I see letters with 4 translations and the number 1 is the 4rth one and not the 1rst. This is not a race, no one are getting paid for have received 5 stars. It's not a competition. Here all of us are for help. The best way to progress in this life is by seeing our mistakes and learn from it Wink smile

People (myself included) complained that years-old translations would sit on #1 spot and sometimes misrepresent the original lyrics [with internet translations older doesn't mean better]. So LT listened and changed it to a new system, where every NEW translation would be fronted, with the exception of rated translations. Currently, imo, translations are listed in following order 1) rated, from best to worst 2) unrated translations, newest to oldest. If you use tags, your translation probably will be placed higher than the ones without them, but still, 5-star rating is a guarantee that your translation occupies #1 spot.

Shh... Don't disclose the secret algorithm, or LT will soon become a market for the SEO crooks.

Yeah, what is their appreciation worth? You got more "thanks", then somebody came and get #1. Everybody reads #1, not #2. Your translation is nothing now. So?

Instead of whining and bitching, you could try and improve your English, for a start. Or ask for proofreading. Don't worry, no matter how much time people will spend helping you, the stars and thanks will all be credited to you and you alone.

And btw. the 5 thanks you got for this horror are totally undeserved. You obviously don't read French better than GT, so why did you publish it in the first place?

That's why we can not hang around evil people
Their stupidity is incredible
