A A

Raving Mad

Some say that he doesn't know where he's going,
Others murmur that he doesn't have a house.
People say that he never sleeps,
That bad luck always accompanies him.

They say and say that he's leaving the city,
Because they say his name behind his back,
He is young and clever, yet a raving lunatic,
He knows bitter loneliness very well.

He lives for the moment, without losing breath,
He takes his time, they confuse him with the wind,
Raving mad, raving mad,
He has no direction and he lives in freedom.

Raving mad, raving mad,
Nobody shows him which way to go.

Nobady knows if he's real or not,
If he's a ghost or if he's alive,
They spy through the windows,
To see if the madman appears in the morning.

You can feel him on the streets of Madrid,
You can hear his screams when he's close,
It was even said he was half mortal and half zombie,
I heard that they once saw him close to me.

He lives for the moment, without losing breath,
He takes his time, they confuse him with the wind,
Raving mad, raving mad,
He has no direction and he lives in freedom.

Raving mad, raving mad,
Nobody shows him which way to go...

I love this song! Regular smile
Just some suggestions:
Verse 1, line 1: '...he doesn't know where he's going' sounds more appropriate here
Verse 1, line 2, verse 2, line 2: you could translate 'murmurar' with whisper/mutter/gossip/murmur
Verse 2, line 1: '...that he's leaving the city' would be more accurate
Verse 2, line 2: typo 'because'
Verse 2, line 3: you don't need the 'a' before 'raving lunatic'
Verse 2, line 4: You don't need the 'the' before 'bitter loneliness'
Verse 3, line 1: 'he lives for the moment'
Verse 3, line 4: '...he lives in freedom'
Verse 6, line 1: 'he leaves/makes his mark / he leaves his traces/tracks' or you could translate it less literally as 'you can feel him on the streets of Madrid'
Verse 6, line 2: 'his screams'
Verse 6, line 3: 'it was even said'

You're welcome Regular smile
I just re-read verse 2, line 3 and realised that you do indeed need the 'a' before 'raving lunatic' -sorry I don't know what I was thinking!
Also I spotted another typo: it's 'nobOdy'
And also verse 6, line 3: 'SAID'

yeah, when I read there is no need an 'a' I was like "isn it necessary? and then "ok, she is native :))" now I'm gonna correct the mistakes Wink smile
