Tamara

संस्करण: #1#2
In front of the Bolshoi theater
I've been waiting for hours
Your white greyhound Berzoj
was barking at the door

At minus twenty six degrees
Moscow is drifting off to sleep
I'm melting like snow
when you put it on your hand

Chorus:
Tamara,
Waiting makes me terribly tired
The wind of the white night stings,
But you’re not here.

Tamara
Nothing has ever been sadder
If only we were just a little further south
Somewhere down south

And I was terribly cool
I didn’t fall for your tricks.
Was it just as cold
for the sailors with Aurora?

Even if you were more beautiful than the Neva river
and more luxurious than the Hermitage
Not even Gilbert Becaud would wait for you
That would be his loss and shame.

Chorus:
Tamara,
Waiting makes me terribly tired
The wind of the white night stings,
But you’re not here.

Tamara
Nothing has ever been sadder
If only we were just a little further south
Somewhere down south

Most of the work was done by Ana_Anchy, but I changed a few lines. In the last stanza he is clearly singing blamaža and not gnjavaža.
The sailors on the ship Aurora may refer to the ship in the October Revolution in Russia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cruiser_Aurora
Gilbert Becaud (Žilbor Beko) was a French singer who wrote a song "Nathalie" about a Russian girl. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_B%C3%A9caud
