Carolina
Carolina, in your deep eyes
You keep so much pain, the pain of the entire world
I've told you already that it won't work
Your tears won't help at all
I invited you to dance
It's time, I know, to enjoy
Out there, my love, a rose bloomed
There was samba to everybody, a star tore itself
And I very well showed it to you, smiling
Through the window, look how pretty!
But Carolina couldn't see it.
Carolina, in your deep eyes
You keep so much love, the love that no longer exists
I told you that it would end
Everything I gave to you so that you could cope with
A thousand verses were sang by me to please you
And now I don't know how to explain
Out there, my love, a rose has withered
The party's over, our boat has departed
And I very well showed it to her
Time passed through window
But Carolina was the only one to see it.

Thank you for noticing it. I just fixed it!
Thank you for your translation!
But didn't the last line mean "(And) Caroline alone didn't see it."? The word "não" makes the basic idea negative, no? I have no Portuguese and yet I am assisted by looking at the subtitles of a DVD and by my understanding of the French translation...

The third verse refers to love but the translation refers to pain. Is the last line correct?
