Carmen Soliman - غيرت رأيك Ghayart Ra2yak (Angol translation)

Angol translation

You changed your mind/opinion

Why have you changed your mind about me this fast?
Weren't you who was telling poems about me!
Weren't you who saw me a queen in your eyes!

Weren't you who was when looking at me get flattered/conceited (~that you have me)
Suddenly, why have you got conceited over me?! 1
Suddenly, you felt I'm a heavy burden weighing you

How, for God, the states were changed!!
And now you intend to hurriedly walk away!
And after you with difficultly found me
You're forgetting me with ease.
And also to make me despair in you (lose all hope),
If I ever met you by chance
You coldly shake hands, with the tip of your hand
And negligently/carelessly look at me.

You made me believe in myself because of all your care/interest.
You made me love to hear your words
You made me change, & alter myself for you.
You promised/ (made me believe) that with you I've just started
And that I'll have a life & a home.
But all these things were wrecked by your own hands.

How, for God, the states were changed!!
And now you intend to hurriedly walk away!
And after you with difficultly found me
You're forgetting me with ease.
And also to make me despair in you,
If I ever met you by chance
You coldly shake hands, with the tip of your hand
And negligently/carelessly look at me.
