Stupid things people do and annoy you.

Oh, dear. Where do I begin?
-Slow walkers (especially on public transit and sidewalks)
-Unlabelled/mispriced goods in stores
-Holding up lines because your coupon won't scan
-Smoking/vaping in peoples' faces
I'm sure I can think of more, unfortunately.  Confused smile

I don't like when people judge other people without know them, i hate when they show racism, e.g. if a person is fat, black, gay, ugly etc... they start critisize him and that's awful.

D, do it in PM. There is no need to cherish one’s ego in public forum again Regular smile

Today is my late mom's birthday. She was always forgiving - can't say the same for myself.
In her honor, ego should not be subdued, subjugated - it should be nurtured to properly be there when needed.
I am certain, this what will happen here.

People centering their body or cart in the market aisle so no one can pass.

When they walk or run on moving stairs, instead of using the normal stairs. Annoying.

I hate it when I finally find a forum to vent and then I go blank and can't think of all the things that I want to vent about! Regular smile

I hate it when I walk into a room and can't remember why I went there, or I start a sentence and can't remember where I'm going with it

I hate it when a car space is clearly labeled "compact", but someone with a huge car parks in it. No one can park on either side, so they're taking up two or three spaces. To add insult to injury, it's usually the only shade in the lot on a hot day, which is why they parked there in the first place.

Tailgaters! The lane to the left is completely empty so the tailgater could easily move into the fast lane. I feel like relaxing in the slow lane, they come up on my tail. If I move over to let them speed ahead, they go up to the next person's tail.

People talking loudly or taking cell phone calls in the library.

Mother ignoring her screaming baby.

when people just stop in the middle of walkway to talk
being judgmental please take a break, and just say "I agree with you " Kiss
ignore road rules andd ignore the most basic rules of driving like not using turning signals
talk to old people like they're children
open a packet of chips slowly at the movies they think it's making the noise quieter, but it's actually the exact same volume and now will take 9 times as long. Sad smile
correcting someon's grammar or spelling
not letting people get out of busses and elevators before entering people
looking at what you're texting ...and (start writing: "can't talk now. no privacy. ):)
andd manspreading
people who look when you say don't look Embarrassed smile
taxi drivers who don't know the best routes piss you off more than anything. Regular smile
spoiling the end of movies, books, tv shows, etc.
not accepting compliments

I love spoilers. I regularly read the endings of the book, ask what happens at the end of the movie... Lol
I think the right way to correct spelling or grammar is just fine. Lol.

Forgot to add - I hate George r. Martin (nah) because I don't know the endings of thousand stories he starts and never finishes. And I want to know NOW how games of thrones end... Lol

Hilarious!!!! All of them. The crinkle snack bags during movie or performance, yes! Spoilers, good one.

When my father had open heart surgery he was in pain but sleeping. The night crew came in and started socializing loudly down the hall. Sarcastically he said, "really? How interesting."

Member
Csatlakozott: 31.08.2018

Wait, don't tell me, don't spoil it!

I'm not going to spoil it. I'm just going to say it has a surprise ending. Or, don't trust anyone. Or, in real life the actors hated each other (but they're best friends on the show).

i'm sorry for your father i wish all the best for you and for your family yes if you say like that you will not spoil it Regular smile and but maybe sometimes spoilers don’t ruin a story they make you enjoy it even more ......omgg and people who talk too much during movies ( like the commentatorr Regular smile and the askerrr ) :p :p

I hate other drivers, especially :
- young ones (usually idiots)
- old ones (usually stupid)
- peasants (usually stubborn)
- foreigners (why the hell did they have to come to this very place ?)
- townsmen who know the place too well (and make you feel like a foreigner, or a peasant)
- females (especially : young ones and old ones, the worse being those talking to their female passenger)
- drivers using their phone while driving (especially young women)
- smoking drivers, throwing their butts out of the window
- eating drivers, throwing their McDonald empty packages and soda cans out of the window
- truck drivers (especially the ones who begin to drive past another truck when there are only 2 lanes and they will need 10 km to make it)
- long distance truck drivers, throwing bottles of... well, you know - out of the window
- ambulances, first aid, fire squadron, police cars, officials and all those who make you feel like you're not welcome before them
- lone male drivers, who want to show you that you're driving like a sick cow
- drivers with their whole family inside the car, with children (or dog) on the rear seats, watching you and making faces at you
- and some more I can't remember just now, but they'll lose nothing by waiting.

Aw, elderly people can't help it.

But throwing cigarette butts out the window, or even on the ground, annoys me.

And other trash? Once I saw a woman, I'm not kidding, I was in the library parking lot. . .She opened her back seat car door and scooped her fast food trash directly onto the ground. She was just going to leave it there. I quickly grabbed some bags and nicely said, "Oh hear, these come in handy for taking trash to the bin."

People leave their trash, or their children's smeared, spilled wet food, in shopping carts. People should be responsible for their own mess. Our markets have cleaning wipes and napkins all over. No, just leave the sticky berry smoothie and the trash for the next person.

Slow walkers - If someone is elderly and slow, I can cope. But if they're a young woman is walking slowly because they're wearing fashion heels, I have no patience. Then there is the couple that takes up the entire narrow sidewalk and tries to force you off the sidewalk.

Guest

groups that take up the whole sidewalk and people who are inconsiderate with their umbrella

and what aboutt the most annoying thing people can do at the beach Sad smile Sad smile kicking sand , and who sitting right on top of you omggg and the beach it is almost completely empty andd people who throw trash in beach and person who decides to shake you their sandy towel near everyone Embarrassed smile

thank you, my dad's surgery was many years ago. . .but no spoilers are ever good for my personality, I love to be surprised by plot twists and the unexpected. If someone says there's going to be a plot twist, even if they don't give details, it ruins it for me. If my friends say I'll like the movie, I say "okay, I will see it, don't tell me ANY thing, not one thing". Or if I see special features, like for the first Star Wars, on how they made it, that ruins it for me. I don't watch "making of" unless I know I'll never watch the movie again.

You're the only one on the beach but someone sits in front of you with large umbrella to block your view of the ocean. You find a seat at theater and as the movie starts, someone tall or with tall hair sits in front of you.

I hate these SiliconValley spoiled brats more than anything. Turning the world into their playground, putting their kids in phone-less schools while turning the rest of the world into braindead morons with the garbage they sell us. Programming their ignorant utilitarian view of the word into millions of devices that constantly tell you what to think and what to say and what to do. Giving the worst kind of people power over life of millions. Creating monsters nobody can control just because it's fun and it makes them rich. Toxic imbeciles of the worst kind.

True. And people sitting near you at a cinema with an enormous bucket of popcorn, and chewing it during the whole movie, keeping their mouth open. I just can't stand the smell of chewed popcorn when I watch a movie. That's why I watch movies home, on my own TV set.

I hope it's not too late to add, but...

STUPID F*CKING PEOPLE BRINGING THEIR IGNORANT KIDS TO THE CINEMA TO WATCH A MOVIE IN ENGLISH WITH SUBTITLES WHILE THE KIDS CAN'T READ AND DON'T KNOW ENGLISH YET SO THEY MUST READ THE SUBTITLES TO THEM OUT LOUD FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR WHILE THEY COULD JUST AS EASILY TAKE THEM TO SEE THE DUBBED VERSION, I WANTED TO F*CKING BASH THAT LADY'S HEAD IN!

Sorry, they just ruined the whole experience for me. This literally just happened.

In the midst of a beautiful violin solo in a concert hall, a visitor starts coughing and instead of leaving, coughs and coughs for a long time. Made me feel so bad for the performer and audience both. Ruined an incredibly beautiful work.

Personally, I don't use Facebook, Google and those others things. I use free/libre software and other social networks that are not controlled by megalomaniac American billionaires.

I'm not against technology or social media at all, but we are not forced to use their products.

P.S.: No need to turn into an Amish farmer.

What film was it?

Editor .
Csatlakozott: 09.10.2018

You can refuse to use their products to some ever more limited extent, but the world around you obviously doesn't.
Unless you live in complete social isolation, the end result seems pretty much the same to me.

For instance, most parents will give in to the huge pressure to give their kids mind-wiping phones and tablets.
That is, unless they live in an social environment where kids won't be singled out as freaks for not having one.

That kind of environment is basically limited to a few privilieged people, or those who are too poor to afford these gizmos.
That represents a very specific subset of world population. A few rich bastards and the part of mankind that has absolutely no say in anything.
The rest just has to helplessly follow the whims of these irresponsible brats. There is simply no organized power able to oppose them or even question the choices they force upon us.

This libertarian ideology assumes society is a mere convenience and individuals are isolated beings free to refuse swallowing the goo they force down our throats.
I rather think society makes us what we are, and whoever controls our collective dreams and desires controls us, no matter the individual attemps to pretend otherwise.

"Wreck-It Ralph 2". Please don't laugh. I really wanted to watch it because of the epic Disney Princesses crossover.

It's not that difficult. You go up to page and copy it. Then press the white surface and press "paste".

It's getting annoying when people don't answer to your questions. It would be more polite to say "I refuse to answer" rather than ignore you and have to make the same question 100 times.

On phones/iPods/etc, you can double click on some text and you'll get a little menu showing up that says select/select all. You can drag the lines to select a portion of text and then you can cut/copy/paste. It's a neat little trick. Regular smile

Smart people have no patience for dumb people.

Now you should add "dumb people who don't know how to use their cell phone's features" to this thread list of things that annoys you!

But remember, m'dear, that as you age, your words may come back on you. Someday you might understand only too well. Wink smile

My answer was “First, why? Second, I get a company phone” LOL

I was at the skating rink today. People who go out on the ice with phones to take selfies or film their kids drive me insane. Not only do I have to focus on my own skating, but I also have to look out for those who're not watching what they're doing.

Same goes for people who stroll on the sidewalk while texting, taking selfies, and just generally not paying attention to their surroundings because they're glued to their screen.

I used to skate a lot when I was a child. And we did go to the skating ring few times, when the kids were younger. And interesting enough - my son puts his skates on for the first time in his life, and skates fluently, naturally...
And my husband, oh well —как корова на льду
