What do you think about new video icons on the front page https://lyricstranslate.com? They became interactive, you can watch a video directly on the page.
Suggestions are welcome.
New video icons
I like them, would have liked to have seen them in red though. Or have the option to change the icon.
They're nice, but I kind of preferred the old ones--the new one is a bit plain.
I second Elen's opinion, red would fit better. When you use the Dark Theme, the icons are unfortunately barely noticeable.
For me they're fine, but let me take the opportunity to ask if it's possible to extend these to our translation pages - never understood why we have a gray 'play' button that doesn't seem to have any function.

Oh, just FYI the icon is blue on Internet Explorer (It's orange on Google Chrome). Is it different colors on different browsers?
I think the icons look different in different places because they're not images, they're emojis.
By the way, if you have the chat activated and start the player, then minimize it so it stays on the bottom-right, then it is no longer accessible because the chat widget is over it.
I use Opera and the icon is grey, so it kind of blends into the site background.
FYI, looks better on Chrome, both interfaces, for my mobile.

It was a mistake to use emoji. Now the play icon is a picture, so it looks the same for everyone.

The video will be attached to the top of the screen if the chat window is active.

Additional functionality is loaded only after clicking on the icon. Therefore, we can expand the functionality to the entire site (including profile pages) without any consequences for the speed of loading pages.

I love the new video icon. But I have a question:
When you log in, the icon for video, annotations, and font size appear in the lyrics/translation; but when you log out, the video icon disappears. I can understand that the annotation icon is obviously for registered users, but: Is the video icon also for registered users or is it a temporary bug?

Yes, it is for registered users only. The reason is in the advertisement. According to the rules of Google Adsense, nothing should cover ads. For the same reason, the main drop-down menu is not available for non-logged-in users.
There are no ads on the front page, user profile pages, and search pages. Therefore, it is possible to make the video icon active on these pages.
On Internet Explorer the image for the video overlaps with the image that indicates a translation has a source. See:

On the main page it works, opera 56.1 on android 5.1, it opens the player and you can listen and watch the video.
On the artists' page that doesn't happen.
When I said "main page" in the previous message I meant the site main page.
To help, the video icon works when used in a lyrics page to open a video in the "trending now" sub page.

It is as Alberto (Aldebaran2020) describes it in his comment above.
In the screenshot you can see that if you hover over the play icon, the link for the lyrics seems to be linked to the play icon.

Also, if a title is too long the Play button will begin to overlap next to the Language it's in to translated in (ex: Italian → Spanish).

But in other instances when the title is long, the format changes so that the title is now in two lines, the play button on the second line:

Is it that at a certain number of characters, the title is formatted to two lines to accommodate for space? If so, that's how it should be for all long titles or else the play button will keep overlapping.
