THOUGHTS AT THE FOUNTAIN OF INDIGO

Lucifer, my Master
You light my journey under oceans
Through magnificent crystal cities
And long lost, ancient shrines

You guide me to the towers of clandestine knowledge
You show me the hidden formulas from the stars
And how do those invisible gates now open before me
Revealing that which has no words

Seven times revolving around cosmos as a star
Eras change before me as waves
And all the colours joyrney towards the center
The rays form a world-temple

My God, for thousands of years I walked the desert
And a burning bush spoke to me in a forgotten tongue
Finally the desert came to an end and I found rest in a tree-shade at the Indigo Fountain
I travelled far and spoke with Them in distant stellar palaces

And they offered a seat in a table with twelve corners
And showed the secrets of the unwritten book
But for another moment I returned
As our temple stands unfinished

That morning the rays were brighter than ever
Watery pillars rose from the fountain towards the heavens
The Elements formed the greatest name
The perfect key

Text in the source field turns into a link that doesn't work, so instead you could add the text in author's comments. You can then add a link to the band's website in the source, for example.

Some of the lines, both in the original and the translations, get broken because they are too long. The solution would be that both original and translation get edited to have shorter lines. That is probably not going to happen. [Oh wait, you're the submitter of the lyrics as well as the translator, so it's all under your control. Consider breaking the lines further so that no single line gets displayed as two.] The site has a feature where, if you hover the mouse over a line in one version, the matching line in the other version and the line you're hovering on get highlighted. That feature breaks if the two versions have different numbers of lines. To fix that, remove the blank line in the following section:

My God, for thousands of years I walked the desert
And a burning bush spoke to me in a forgotten tongue
Finally the desert came to an end and I found rest in a tree-shade at the Indigo Fountain

I travelled far and spoke with Them in distant stellar palaces
