Your question is not quite clear. In 1st stanza, there is:
Mein Pilot wenn ich fliege,
Sonnenschein im Zenit.
Purpurrot hier im Grau,
letzte Note im Lied.
Mein Gebet wenn ich glaube,
und Vertrauen wenn ich traue.
Weiche Daunen wenn ich falle,
und nur du fängst mich auf.
"Daunen" mean reglulary the down feathers in a duvet (feathers of ducks or gooses) which are soft. May be that also snow can be meant if it is soft.

In 4th stanza there is:
Mein Verlust wenn ich scheue,
Hauptgewinn wenn ich spiel‘.
Stausee, Staudamm und Flut,
auf der Schussfahrt zum Ziel.
"Schussfahrt" means a very fast drive normally with skis, a skirun straight down the hill.

But both stanzas do not have a special sense, it is not possible to define exactly the context of these words.

I was trying to translate sentence Weiche Daunen wenn ich falle und nur du fängst mich auf and it didn't work so well, because all meanings I could find for Weiche Daunen are meanings, which wouldn't make any sense if I would translate them into Latvian.

And what Schussfahrt could mean in sentence Stausee, Staudamm und Flut auf der Schussfahrt zum Ziel?

As I wrote: not a lot of sense or meaning. IMO you should translate word by word.

I did that before I created this topic. That's where things got worse, because either translator couldn't translate it at all or it translated Schussfahrt as shooting and driving.

As Natur Provence already said, "weiche Daunen" means soft down feathers and "Schussfahrt" means skiing straight down a hill really fast.
I also agree with "not a lot of meaning", because the lyrics contain pretty much no context.
If you're really looking to find a meaning behind the lyrics, I think it's about a Woman, like "[You are my] soft downs when I fall" like in "you build me up when I'm having a hard time" (or more metaphorical "you're my cushion I fall upon", because pillows are often stuffed with down feathers).
Same goes for "auf der Schussfahrt zum Ziel" like the person resembles the fastest way to reaching a goal/ victory and therefor causes a lot of happy/ euphoric feelings?
(my favourite dictionary suggests the word "schuss" or the verb "to schuss" as an English translation for Schussfahrt by the way, I never knew that was a thing).

I was just looking for something, which would make any sense when I translate it into Latvian and now I think I know how to translate it all into Latvian.

Thank you both for your help!
