there was a garden
It's a song for the kids
Who are born and who lives between steel
And bitumen between concrete and asphalt
And who might never know
That the land was a garden
There was a garden that we called a earth
It shined under the sun like a forbidden fruit
No it was not paradise nor hell
nor something that we already seen or heard
The re was a garden, a house, trees
With a little bed of foam to make love
And a little creek rolling without waves
Coming to refreshing it and continued on his course
The was a garden like a valley
We could feed ourselves on all the seasons
On the hot land or on the frozen grass
And discover flowers that didn't have name
There was a garden that we called a earth
It was big enough for millions of kids
It was inhabited by our grand-fathers
Who kept it themselves with their grand-parents
Where is this garden where we could have been born
Where we could live carefree and naked?
where is this house with all her doors open
That I look for again and that I no longer find?

Bonjour Nwen, je sais que je vous réponds avec beaucoup de redard.
Plusieurs personnes observent mieux qu’une.
Donc : qu'on appelait la terre > that we called (a earth) Earth
Il y avait un jardin grand comme une vallée > (The) THERE was a garden BIG like a valley
de leurs grands-parents > (with) FROM their grand-parents
Amitiés

10th line, "des arbres" > "among the trees" or "in the woods". 11th line, "mousse" > "moss". The imagery is a "State of Nature" per Rousseau.
13th line, "Venait le rafraîchir" > "Coming to refresh us". I believe the "le" refers to the unstated "On", the impersonal 3rd-person used as an indirect self-referent. Also, "to refreshing" is a tautological construct; either use the "ing" present participle/gerrund ending or use the "to ..." infinitive construct without the "ing" ending; not both. "Et poursuivait son cours" > "and continued on its course". Though "cours" is masculine gender in french, most non-living things in english are a neuter gender, and would use the gender-neutral 3rd personal pronoun "it"
