Daylight, I must...
Svitlo Dnya, Myshy....
Day light is the reason she must wait for the sunrise.
Well, on the one hand I agree, but on the other the main thought here is "SUNRISE is coming soon, and it is about to change into the dusk later", so I've decided not to translate the word "daylight" as it is redundant here.
It's part of the song??
Yes, but it is not very important I think and can be ommited :)
The line would be too long should I add this word...
...but if you insist, I'll make a footnote ;)
it's not that ... you've taken away the reason for her to wait for the sunrise, the music it's self requires the line. It's the emphasis of the text . Listen to the music if you have time.
how about:
svitanka, myshy checkaty cxig sontsya ?
We don't actually say like "мушу чекати" in that case. It is not in Ukrainian style.
"Світло, має бути світанок"
"Світло, зустрічаю світанок"
"Світло, маю стріти світанок"
What about these ones?
