A Stroll

Today I will not go early to bed.
You phoned - we'll take a stroll instead.
We'll pass through the empty streets,
Let the lights shine for the two of us.

It's nice that the rain has ceased.
Now I surely know that you will come
To me, a-knocking on the window
And will say: I am giving you these stars.

These stars glitter so, as if they know
Dreams of lovers who city-wandering go.
The young moon will wink at you and me,
He hastens, with a bouquet of stars, for his beauty, the twilight.

Today I will not go early to bed.
You phoned - we'll take a stroll instead.
We'll pass through the empty streets
Let the lights shine for the two of us.

A coolness in the face, a sighing breeze,
We will pass by a kiosk designated "East"
You will place your hand on my shoulder
And will say: "I am giving you these stars"

These stars glitter so, as if they know
Dreams of lovers who city-wandering go.
The young moon will wink at you and me,
He hastens, with a bouquet of stars, for his beauty, the twilight.

How great it would be to meet the sunrise together,
But I fear my mother is waiting for me at home.
Ah, here is my place on the first floor,
I don't see any light. All are sleeping!

"Alright" I sill say "til tomorrow, bye"
Suddenly hand will softly squeeze hand,
You won't allow me to finish speaking
And lips will tremble as a tense thread.

These stars glitter so, as if they know
Dreams of lovers who city-wandering go.
The young moon will wink at you and me,
He hastens, with a bouquet of stars, for his beauty, the twilight.

Sorry for the unsought remark but are you sure of "twilight" for "заря"?

Hi Layman,
No need to say sorry. I am always open to, and appreciation any corrections, questions, suggestions, etc.

I was not sure if заря in this context meant "утренняя заря" or "вечерняя заря", so I used "twilight" to avoid ruling either out.
