I love learning about different languages and discovering new music. When translating from Arabic, I aim for a more literal approach with limited personal interpretation, but literal translations can be clunky and sometimes you have no choice but to pick one meaning out of several options. My hope is to capture the beauty of the original language, and to convey it to people who don't speak it (or are learning to!)
