Bol Hu - Soch the Band ft. Hadiya Hashmi | NESCAFÉ Basement Season 5 | 2019

Rang ja apney hee rang tu
Hoja apney hee sang tu
Bana le choti si duniya
Hoja mast malang tu

BOL HU

Khaali khaali ankhon se sapney bunta ja
Man apney ki kr le tu sab ki sunta ja
Tooti tooti saanson se larta ja barhta ja
Tukra tukra kr kr k kismat chunta ja

Boley tan man jab HU
Thandi lagti hai phir looh
Sajdey mein aansu gira de
Hoja mast malang tu

BOL HU

Wich sajdey soch kisay hor di kyun
Dil mein terey dard hai rog hai kyun
Kya hai tu kyun hai tu soch zara

Larh ja apni yeh jang tu
Krde sab ko hi dang tu
Bana le choti si duniya
Hoja mast malang tu

BOL HU
ALLAH HU"

Say HU

Paint yourself with colours within
find a companion within
Make a small world for yourself
be a wanderer in spiritual ecstasy.

Say, just HU (God)*

Keep dreaming with empty eyes
Do what your heart says but listen to everyone
With broken breaths, keep fighting, keep moving forward
piece by piece keep collecting your fate.

When soul and body says HU
Even the summer hot dry wind feels pleasant and cold
Shed tears while prostrating
Be a wanderer in spiritual ecstasy
[leave all your worries behind].

Say HU!

In prostration why think of someone else
Why is your heart broken and in pain
Why are you? Why you exist? Contemplate!

Fight the war within
Stun everyone around you
Make a small world for yourself
Be a wanderer in spiritual ecstasy
[leave all your worries behind]

Say, HU.
ALLAH HU!

In Islamic mysticism/sufism/tasawwuf, HU is the essence of Allah (God).

This paragraph is taken from 'The Study Quran':

According to some commentators, HU (huwa) designates in and of Himself, the undifferentiated Divine Self or Essence. Huwa would thus be the greates Name of God, and one of the most effective formulas for calling upon Divine aid would be 'yā huwa yā man lā huwa illā huwa, "O Hu, O the One other than Whom there is no HU (self note: Hu is usually translated as 'He' but it has nothing to do with gender); or "O Hu. O the One who is HU, other than Whom there is no god."

For al-Rāzī huwa indicates a degree of Divinity above that designated by the name Allah, when Allah is understood to indicate God in relation to the multiplicity that the Divine Essence or Self brings forth. For others, huwa indicates the Essence qua Essence beyond consideration of Its Attributes, and Allah indicates "the Essence with the totality of Attributes".

(see the commentary of sura Ikhlas).
