Now you can add multiple (up to 5) languages in one song, e.g. https://lyricstranslate.com/en/cirque-du-soleil-banquete-lyrics.html

If you encounter a bug or have suggestions about songs that should be updated, please post them here.

What does this do to your number of translations on your profile in language pairs? I.e. if a song has English and German lyrics and I have translated to Polish, will this count as an English --> Polish and a German --> Polish translation or just one? I'm not too fussed as I keep my own records (I'm autistic so I have spreadsheets for EVERYTHING lol) but I just wondered. This is a good feature and I'm glad to see it.

Huh...how should we handle songs with more than 5 languages? Should we add 5 random languages or keep them in the "other" section? I would vote for the latter (or else to add "multilingual" in the list of languages for songs in 6+)

I would add the 5 that are most prominent in the text if it's clear.

I was wondering if there is any criteria to decide if a song is multilingual or not.
Usually songs that contain just a couple of sentences in a foreign languages shouldn't be considered as having more than one language, unless that sentence constitutes the refrain, in which case it would be repeated enough times to add that exotic linguistic flavour.
I'd say that we may add a second language when at least a whole stanza is in a different language, but it also depends on the length of said stanza.
As for songs that have more than 5 languages, it would be wiser to keep the "Other" category as it's not always clear which languages are the most prominent. Such songs wouldn't be translated by a single person anyway, so searchability shouldn't be considered as a huge issue here.

Need to be able to set the languages in their order of appearance in the song.
( i.e.) First couplet/stanza Mongolian, second is Chinese.
When I tried different languages after saving they go into alphabetical (?) order instead. I tried it more than once.

It might be worth marking each stanza with its language in multilingual songs? Perhaps with the two letter ISO codes so that there is a standard. So it would look like:

[EN:]
insert lyrics here
and more
and more

[IT:]
here it changes to Italian

[EN:]
and back to English

What do you mean by "most prominent"? When a song is sung in more than 5 languages, I guess it's gonna be hard to pick a "most prominent" group. Just to give a few examples:
https://lyricstranslate.com/sv/moana-ost-how-far-ill-go-24-languages-lyr...
https://lyricstranslate.com/sv/idina-menzel-let-it-go-25-languages-lyric...
https://lyricstranslate.com/sv/saara-aalto-monsters-34-languages-lyrics....

The latter was classiefied as "English, Estonian, Greek, Portuguese, Swedish", but I don't really see how these 5 languages would be more prominent than the remaining 26, they are just the first five on the list.

So, then again, I would keep this kind of songs in the "other" cathegory.

In this case, in the "Details" popup it will be shown twice, as "English --> Polish 1" and "German --> Polish 1", but the total number of translations will by increased by 1.

Hence why I said "if it's clear". If the number of lines is similar in more than 5, then I would agree adding "other" or "multilingual" if the option was made possible. My concern if it were made available would be that users would tend to mark any multilingual as such rather than the separate language tags. As others have mentioned, you're unlikely to get one translator for these 5+ language songs in any case, so I think "other" suffices for them.

Awesome!
Almost had given up hope on this one ;) You are good for good surprises.

If someone wants to start re-categorizing, I suppose the easiest method would be to search for translations in our database where original and target language are identical.

Regarding what counts... I think everything over 1 whole line should count for sure, and 1 line or less probably depends on the length of the whole song.

What I often do when I don't feel like translating, but still want to translate something is starting the translation, saving the draught and keep working on it later. Yesterday I saved the draught of a song I wanted to translate, but when I got back to it, I noticed I had saved two draughts: the song is bilingual, so a draught for each language. This is pretty inconvenient.
I tried to test it again with another bilingual song, so that I could be sure it wasn't just a bug. Good thing is that when you delete one draught, the other one goes away too.
