I have some music CDs that contain tracks that cannot be found on YouTube. Please advise how I can add them to YouTube or what kind of files can be added to YouTube.
Also, what software do I use if I want the lyrics to appear at the same time the performer is singing them?
You just might face issues with copyright and YT removing your videos or blocking it in some countries (it often happens here in LT as well - broken video links sometimes are just inaccessible from our countries).
For lyrics to appear with the song, I believe YT has a lyric-syncing mechanism (it also works for subtitles), but never used it or tried it for myself.
Okay, thanks. The fact that these items cannot be found on YouTube may prove your point. Someone may have tried posting them and had them removed before I ever searched.
Last question to all of you. I have CDs. Can I upload from the CD or do I need some other music format like MP3 or whatever. I'm behind on technology.
Well I always have the Tracks as mp3 on my PC and to be honest I never tried it with cdda (the Format that you find on every normal Audio CD) and also to be honest I better would do it with normal formats.
You have to burn the CD tracks onto your PC, then make a video (.wmv, .flv, .avi, etc.) to be able to submit it on YouTube.

What about creating a montage to put onto YouTube? How do you do that?
For example, let's say I want to take my favorite scenes with Daphne on the TV show Frasier and compile them into one video to put on YouTube.
How do people do that?
They have to have the video clips on their PC to be able to cut them wherever they want to.

Same thing, they have to burn the videos to their computer. Either via download or via extracting video directly from media (DVD/etc).
