I kind of really like Japanese sad songs. I have found Kimi Dattara of Happy Birthday. I have to admit I cry a little bit when I read that song's lyric. You can try!

1. RAIN by GLAY
It may seem pretty chill at the beginning, but wait until the piano solo. The following parts get me everytime.
There are many many MANY other painful GLAY songs but this one just. Rips my heart out and steps on it and tears it into a million pieces more than the rest
The singer comes to terms with the situation, yes. But it's still pretty darn painful.

3. Long Distance Call by BUCK-TICK

The songwriter wrote the lyrics based on his own experience of calling his mother while she was sick and dying in the hospital. Ouch.
