I think you're right about the title, but wikipedia says the song is not about Sarah Jessica Parker. The song seems to have been acquired (bought) by Kadison from an anonymous song writer. I've just found out that Kadison is gay or bisexual; that puzzled me.

Jessie
Jessie, tu peux toujours me revendre tous tes rêves
Oh Jessie, tu peux toujours me revendre tous tes rêves.
Oh Jessie, comment tu sembles toujours savoir à quel moment appeler? »
Jessie, tu peux toujours me revendre tous tes rêves
Jessie, tu peux toujours me revendre tous tes rêves
Oh Jessie, tu peux toujours me revendre tous tes rêves.

It's also possible...I just hear all the radio presentators here telling it was written for her every time they play the song (and on different French and Dutch speaking radio stations, so it's not always the same who tells it :-) ) But, whatever, it's not important... it's still a beautiful song and at the time it was popular, I was far too young to even know what being gay or bisexual meant ;-)
If the song is about Sarah Jessica Parker, why didn't he call it "Sarah"? :P
Sarah, paint your pictures about how it's gonna be,
By now I should know better your dreams are never free,
But tell me all about our little trailer by the sea,
Sarah, you can always sell any dream to me

Hello ! I think the real title is "Jessie" (with an "i" before the e), Jesse often being a man's name in English speaking countries...And...there's a kind of story linked to this song : "Jessie" is the short version of Jessica, and it should have been written for Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the city) after she and Joshua Kadison broke up...
For the rest here are small remarks about the my translation :
* fais-toi des images : I preferred this to peins-toi des images , because it refers to "to imagine"
** la façon que tu l'avais imaginé : litteraly it would give "planifié", but that sounds too technical in French...
Hope it will help you :-)
