A A

Butterfly

You are a dangerous girl
our love will be eternal
believe it, we are rich
we have so much luck right now
got all the money from the bank
without having to shoot that much

A hotel by the road, an ill omen
you want to sleep now? Don’t make me laugh
We knock on the door, tasty dinner
Night festivities in a white bed
night festivities in a white bed

Why did you choose this hotel?
And haven’t asked me at all?
when I saw that car standing there
I started to worry about us
Now there’s a bunch of ‘coppers’, like in a horror film
climbing up our windows-to get us

We’re fucked in this ‘flophouse’,
they know it here, they got us already
dawn is almost breaking-it’s happening so quickly
they shoot you dead in a white bed
they shoot you dead in a white bed

Dammit, something’s split us apart
don’t leave me, it’s not time yet
try to fight it for at least a while
what a shame that they shot You like this
I hope it doesn’t hurt too much
I’ll give you a new handgun for your name day, a big one

We’re fucked in this ‘flophouse’,
they know it here, they got us already
dawn is almost breaking-it’s happening so quickly
they shoot you dead in a white bed
they shoot you dead in a white bed

You look as if you’re sleeping
not hearing the police sirens
So you fled from me like this,
via the shortest way to hell!
Gunshots light up the darkness
I hurry after you - NOW!!

We’re fucked in this ‘flophouse’,
they know it here, they got us already
dawn is almost breaking-it’s happening so quickly
they shoot you dead in a white bed
they shoot you dead in a white bed

Grazie!

Commenti dell’autore:

coppers - meant as policemen

flophouse - couldn’t find any perfect translation for the word “pajzl” which basically means a very bad, cheap, nasty pub/inn/hotel etc...
