I try to create a vibe with my translations that are suitable to the particular song, if I am already familiar with the song and not fulfilling an unfamiliar request. A former student of Italian at university in the USA, who has officially translated some works from Italian to English. Eurovision fan, but my favorite musical genres are alternative and world folk.
