A A

Inje

Palo inje po nama
Ledi krv u žilama
A ti, srce, steglo baš
Te brzo zaboravljaš

Drhti ljubav kao prut
Usred ljeta zamrznut
Drhtim i ja, drhti glas
Otkada mi nema nas

Džaba jorgan tijelo grije
Promaja kroz dušu bije

Bogu dane otimam
Gubim i kad dobijam
Al' kad niko ne vidi
Pustim srcu da mu svratiš ti

Živim tek po navici
Kao rob u samici
Al' kad niko ne čuje
Pustim srce da se raduje

Ja i život, pas i mačka
Srce najskuplja mu igračka

Bogu dane otimam
Gubim i kad dobijam
Al' kad niko ne vidi
Pustim srcu da mu svratiš ti

Živim tek po navici
Kao rob u samici
Al' kad niko ne čuje
Pustim srce da se raduje

Palo inje

I think the language should be changed to Montenegrin (I know that it's pretty much the same as Serbian, but Montenegrin does exist in the database so we might as well use it if appropriate).

"Montenegrin" is actually just a dialect of Serbian language Regular smile This song is in Serbian, in the Ijekavian dialect, to be more precise.
Best regards!
Stefan

If the "Montenegrin" category exists, it means that we need it and we use it. If this song is listed under "Serbian", then all the other songs listed under "Montenegrin" should be changed as well and, at that point, what's the point of having a "Montenegrin" category?
There's no reason for this song to be listed under "Serbian", if "Montenegrin" already exists.

That was my initial point. However, since BalkanTranslate1 told us that the song is not actually sung in Montenegrin dialect but in a different dialect (which I hadn't been aware of), it should be kept in the "Serbian" category.

I wish it were that simple. According to the Montenegrin constitution the official language of Montenegro is the standardisation of the Ijekavian Štokavian dialect, a dialect of Serbian, which is called "Montenegrin".

Ah, okay, that dialect IS Montenegrin. So I'll stand by my first post.
