著者コメント:

The song is composed of runic inscriptions carved on protective amulets, or bracteates. The interpretation of many of these inscriptions is difficult, so the author of the translation decided, out of respect for the languages, to leave the untranslatable elements untranslated.
The first "couplet" in the runic record has a double interpretation. One of them is presented in the text. Read here (text in Norwegian, bracteate NIæR 11 (N IK1)): https://www.arild-hauge.com/innskrifter.htm
