Hey again guys!

This time I am listening to this song: https://lyricstranslate.com/es/girl-hair-long-lyrics.html and there is one of the sentences where I cannot tell if she is really saying this sentence, and if so.. what would be the meaning...

The sentence is this one: Dill and blasting on the road / and I'm not sure what would it mean.

At first I thought it could be 'drill and blasting' terms used for explosives uses. But I really don't hear 'drill', I don't know

Thanks in advance for your help!

The line is incorrect, it should be "Dylan blasting on the road."

(She's listening to Bob Dylan music loudly while driving down the road).

I clearly hear Dill and blasting and a pause there
If the line was Dylan blasting the AND wouldn't be sesizable , and yet i quite hear it very loud

And about the meaning .. the word (act like a dill) "dill" beside its normal conotation = someone who does things without thinking, someone that fools around / is messing around

Messing around and playing loud music on the road (To blast = to play loud music)

I didn't know about this use of dill. Yeah, at least the video lyrics says Dill too.. What Sarah told me before made sense, since I didn't know this expression.. But seeing it this way, makes sense too and it's attached to the lyrics video!

Thanks for it Radu ;)

I think it's just the way she's saying it - when singing, things aren't always pronounced the same way as when speaking, sounds can be drawn out more.

I'm not sure how that makes sense grammatically, what part of speech would that be?

One more thing, I think she's saying 'seeds' instead of 'sieged.' I don't hear the 'g' sound and I hear an 's' at the end. It would also make more sense with the context of being buried and wanting to grow into a tree.

What do you mean by "what kind of speech would that be" ? You mean to ask how that would make sense in the verse ? Anyway to imply that thing with "Dylan" makes less sense to me .. So the conclusion is that we can agree to disagree.. .. and that's that//

Yet if you want to know .. about the correlation with the text .. it is simple .. girl implies that "she's messing around while on her road to home / music full blast .. " ya see all tha nice things ..

Parts of speech are things like nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. I've never heard that use of 'dill' and am trying to understand how it fits grammatically.

She'd have to phrase it quite differently for it to mean that, the grammar doesn't fit.
