Hi,
is it possible to link existing idioms? For example https://lyricstranslate.com/en/vor-die-hunde-geh%D0%B5n should be linked with https://lyricstranslate.com/en/go-dogs. I can only find the option to add a new equivalent.
It would also be good to have the option to add different forms of the same idiom. For example 'going to the dogs' as a form of 'go to the dogs'. So that it is recognized as idiom in the text and no duplicate is necessary.

Hi,
The first tip on this page shows you what to do in these cases ;)
Thanks for your answer! Unfortunately this works only on translations that I added by myself and I don't really like the direct link instead of it beeing listed in the idiom section..
Can you help with the first question too?

We discussed this issue here too, but there is still no solution for this except making link
Duplicate postings of the same idiom (if that is what you mean) has been an issue for a long time. I don't think there is any solution except for virtual slapping poster's hand for not checking before posting 😊.
I don't want to blame people for adding an equivalent idiom in another language as a duplicate, because no one knows the equivalents in all languages.
It just should be possible to link those afterwards, because at the moment I have to choose if I want to add it as a duplicate myself, or leave it unconnected.
I hear you. And I wasn't talking about the other languages. The idioms module seem to be the most neglected one by the developers (sorry, LT). To be honest, I just gave up on it
Speaking of recognizing multiple spellings of one idiom in song lyrics...
Could it be possible to do idiom recognition this way?
I just simulated the input form, it doesn't exist
