Drago mi je što postojiš
Drago mi je što sam te zavolela
Em si uzeo, em si ukrao (moje srce)
Blago tebi!
Moje srce, koje nije želelo ranije
Sada bi bilo srećno i u pustinji
Išla sam pogrešnim putem
Molim te, vrati se
Ja sam napisala tugu i bol svojoj sudbini
Beskrajni su, ali još uvek ne mogu ostati bez nade
Ali, ako moj vrt nije slavan kao što je nekad bio
To je zato što si počupao cveće
There are a number of variations on this song, and here is what I believe matches what is presented in this version. The song is a traditional folk lullaby from Kyūshū, specifically the town Itsuki in the Kumamoto Prefecture, and is somewhat heavy in the dialect of that area. Since I cannot give furigana here, readers of Japanese who are unfamiliar with this dialect should look to the transliteration and/or my references to assist with proper readings.
