Doll

バージョン: #1#2#3
When Sissy1 has to work,
she locks me in the room
She's given me a doll,
then I'm not alone
When Sissy has to work,
she doesn't take the train
Her workspace isn't far away,
it's right in the room next door

In the sky, dark clouds gather
I take my medicine nicely
And wait here in the down bed
Till the sun goes down

They come and they go
And sometimes also as couples
The late birds sing
And my sister screams

In the sky, dark clouds gather
I take my medicine nicely
And wait here in the down bed
Till the sun goes down

And then I rip the doll's head off
Then I rip the doll's head off
Yes, I bite the doll's neck off
I'm not doing well

I rip the doll's head off
Yes, I rip the doll's head off
And then I bite the doll's neck off
I'm not feeling well...no
Dam-dam

When Sissy is indulging in the work,
the light in the window is red.
I look through the keyhole
and someone struck her dead
And now I rip the doll's head off
Yes, I rip the doll's head off
And then I bite the doll's neck off
Now I'm fine...yes

I rip the doll's head off
Yes, I rip the doll's head off
And now I bite the doll's neck off
I'm doing very well...yes
Dam-dam

  • 1. Sissy is a diminutive of "sister" and is used by siblings to refer to one's sister instead of calling them by name. Although the word "sissy" can also be used as an adjective to describe an effeminate boy or man, that is not what is meant here.

Good translation overall, but I really think you should translate "Schwesterlein" as "Sis" instead of "sissy", sincr the latter refers much more to an effeminate man than an actual sister.
