Sean Banan - Bananaman
Bananaman
- 1. Wordplay with the word "injektion"
- 2. Spiderman in Swedish is "Spindelmannen", and "Imse vimse spindel" is the Swedish version of Itsy Bitsy Spider song for children
- 3. Stålmannen; Swedish name for Superman
- 4. A somewhat new and controversial word in the Swedish language. In English it would be "they/them" instead of him/her
- 5. Läderlappen; Swedish name for Batman
- 6. Wordplay. "Skum" means both foam and fishy, but a "skumbanan" is also a marshmallow candy with banana taste

Please note that adding them to the English version makes no sense unless the lyrics still make no sense in English after I have translated the text.
Adding them to the Swedish version makes sense for the people that are actually interested in learning Swedish.
I don't know how it is for eveyone else, but when I have the translation up the original lyrics show up on the left side, so yes, having it explained in English on the original page makes sense.

There is an English translation - I made it!
What other people do with the information I provided when they are translating is up to them. As I wrote; the lyrics in English makes sense in English and I don't think they will need to be explained, and if they translate from the Swedish lyrics I'm pretty sure they will know English aswell so that won't be a problem. And if there is, then they can just ask me.
