By breeze I left for the Moon Palace
For sightseeing of the celestial pavilions
In misty air where fallen flowers covered the ground
A vague silhouette of déjà vu
'Twas thou leaning on the osmanthus gorgeously
Smiling with limpid eyes
Held thy hand to utter
And woefully I shed tears
[Movement II: Travel with Immortals]
Thou invitedest me to board the decorated wagon
Riding jade dragons and iridescent clouds
To travel the paradise with thee
And enjoy the heavenly splendor together
The immortal sent a phoenix to invite me
To Penglai the godly island
To have morn's dews and sweet herbs
And see the rising waves of vast ocean
I bid goodbye to the immortal for the journey to Kunlun
Picked the snow lotus for thy makeup
Bathed with thee in the celestial pool
And embroidered the dress with colourful clouds

Like the sun begrudging to farewell the evening glow
Thou saidest adieu unwillingly
When I sadly urged thee to stay
Into emptiness hadst thou vanished
Suddenly I woke up
Entirely unaware of the reason
Tears' traces still upon face
