LGBTQIA+ - Vol. I
Suggested by Higgs Boson. The song doesn't directly deal with LGBT+ issues, but 'breaking free' can be a reference of letting go of all our problems - one of them, being closeted.
Suggested by Loot. The song mocks the notion that legalizing gay marriage would inevitably lead to zoophilia getting legalized as well.
Suggested by Loot.
Suggested by maluca and SoPink. The song was originally written and produced by Carlos Berlanga and Nacho Canut. Alaska y Dinarama's version of the song was later recognized as a gay anthem by the Spanish language-speaking LGBT community, even though it did not allude to it at all. The song describes a person who is criticized for being different. The question and title lyric "Who cares?" is repeated throughout the song indicating that criticism does not affect her and she will stay the way she is. (From Wikipedia)
Suggested by Diazepam Medina. It explicitly encourages people to come out of the closet saying that "being sexual is not a crime", alluding to the Spanish transition days where there were many political demonstrations calling for authonomy, amnesty, etc.
Suggested by Racmat.
Suggested by Rezz.
Suggested by maluca. "It gets better" is the name of a project in the US to prevent suicides by LGBT youths.

Suggested by Safyra. This song is also about two women (Cherry and Jenny), where Cherry wants Jenny to realise that she wants to be more than friends. Also note, while Cherry is voiced by a dude, this song is still about two women.
Suggested by hariboneagle927. Song is about a bakla (or an effeminate gay man) who likens himself to a mermaid. He narrates on how he realized he was gay way back during his childhood. "Sirena" also tackles the man's relations with his father who abused him in the past for being gay and unmanly.
Suggested by Viola Ortes. The music video shows a kid whose gender identity is not accepted.
Suggested by Miley_Lovato. Sam Smith is an openly gay artist. He wrote this song after he broke up with his boyfriend.
Suggested by Miley_Lovato. Trey Pearson found fame as a married, straight, Christian rock singer. Then, in 2016, he made the decision to come out publically, quickly becoming an advocate for gay Christians who crave a more accepting kind of faith.
Suggested by Miley_Lovato. Ian Axel sings about the woman he loves whereas King is singing about the man he loves.
Suggested by ulissescoroa. A song by openly gay Brazilian singer Johnny Hooker featuring transgender woman Liniker about self-acceptance and resistance against prejudice and violence towards the LGBT+ community in Brazil. The lyrics basically say "Baby, I'm done hiding/From looks, whispers with you/We are two men and nothing else" and "no one gets to tell us how we should love". The music video shows two deaf boys dealing with homophobia while they try to be together.
Suggested by ulissescoroa. A song by transgender singer Titica who struggled against prejudice in Angola only to become the first and most relevant trans singer in the country. In the lyrics, she talks about hipocrisy and bad judgement: "being different is no offense, every one gives what they have/When we are born, we don't get to choose our parents, the most important thing is love/Today you came here to fight, would that be a lack of decency?/if you think my curves are indecent, you should do something about that liquor of yours".

I can suggest you most part of Hayley Kiyoko's songs, as for example Girls Like Girls, Pretty Girl, Curious etc... Also Catey Shaw's "Night go slow" or Borgeous's "Invincible", and "Boy don't cry", made by Tokio Hotel, the video is about transgender people
Thank you for making this btw :)

Thanks for this list! :)
If someone transcribed and added this song, it would be great:

This is the very first Soviet song about gays (1990!) -> https://lyricstranslate.com/en/sektor-gaza-goluboi-%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1...
I've mentioned my attitude towards the song in the comments on its page. But whether it is offensive or not, it's remarkable for its priority. Look, it was written when homosexual intercourse between men (while women had no reasons to fear, BTW) was prosecuted under law in the USSR. So it's of historical value, first of all as the first public appeal regarding the problem being previously hushed up. ;)
Juan, what about LP? https://lyricstranslate.com/en/lp-lyrics.html An amazing performer

Hi. Could you please add this song to the album? The video shows a kid whose gender identity is not accepted.
I think the song talks about a love story between two men. There are mainly four lines on which I based this interpretation, though I can see you can understand some hidden meaning in other lines as well. First we've got "Ai maschi innamorati come me/ ai maschi innamorati come te" which sounds to me as if they're describing their relationship, though I admit that the "males in love" aren't necessarily in love to each other. A third line is "Ma questa notte voglio farti le pazzie." which sounds pretty sexual to me. However "farti le pazzie" is not an idiom, it's a very weird way to say "farti impazzire" (probably?) which may have a lot of meanings (from "drive you crazy" to "satisfy you sexually") and the context isn't clear. The fourth line, though, justifies all my previous suspects: "Tutta la notte voglio farti ancora mio" (which also sounds quite sexual, to be honest).
The true meaning is hidden, as Gianna uses some strange expressions, but she is impersonating a man ("innamorati come ME") who lives his life as everyone else and falls in love with a man ("cosa mi fai?"). Thing is, the song is not focusing on the relationship between them, but rather on his love for men as he sees "males" everywhere he goes ("disegnati sui metrò/confondono le linee di Miró./Dalle vetrine, dietro ai jukebox," and other lines as well).
This is my interpretation: as I said, the text is extremely vague, but that's what I thought while I was translating it. Tell me what you think about it.
Oh, you're right! I totally agree with you. By the way, the use of 'ai maschi innamorati come ME' really sounds like she's thinking of herself as a man. As Gianna is a lesbian herself, then I understand this more. I'll add this song now to the list, thanks for your comment and suggestion :)
