I was checking the lyrics of Ti amo by Umberto Tozzi and there is a sentence I just don't have clear

Dammi il sonno di in bambino che t'a
Sogna...

The word "T'a" is the one I can't understand it's meaning.

Can any one explain it to me?

Thank you in advance.

I found other versions : the text should be "dammi il sonno di un bambino/ che fa, sogna..."
Actually it is anyway quite hard to understand. Maybe it could be: "Dammi il sonno di un bambino. Che fa? Sogna..."
Sometimes, authors, in order to find ryming words, write some odd syntactic constructions, or sentences whose meaning is a little bit obscure. Maybe in this case too.

Couldn't it be "dammi il sonno di un bambino che, tac, sogna cavalli e si gira..."? Where "tac" is the sound of a spring used with the meaning of "suddenly"? The phrase would sound more or less like this: give me the sleep of a baby who "suddendly" dreams about horses and turns around (while sleeping).

"dammi il sonno di un bambino CHE FA , sogna ..."
It is intended as if he were asking to sleep as only a child can do. Quiet and full of dreams (in this case a horse). Let me sleep like a child who dreams about horses and turns around (in bed).

"T'a" doesn't have any sense - and doesn't exhist in Italian.
And not even "Tac" which is a "new" dialectal expression never used at the times this song was written.
I rather agree with "...Dammi il sonno di un bambino. Che fa? Sogna..."
In the text the author is asking for things, experiences, sensations, and at that point he asks (to know, to get...) " ... the (quiet?) sleep of a child. What does he do? He's dreaming..."

"Tac" exists in italian. It is not a dialectal form. It is an onomatopoeic sound, an interietion that means "the sound made by a spring"
The subitaneous happening of a fact. For example: I was talking 'bout my BF and... tac! I saw him coming from behind the corner...

The phrase is " dammi il sonno di un bambino che, (tac), sogna cavalli e si gira". I think that it means "give me the sleep of a child who's dreaming about horses and suddenly turns around"
T'a has no meaning in italian and the phrase
"Dammi il sogno di un bambino che fa? Sogna..." has no sense...

Viola is right for the comment on the "tac" word.
Actually I confused it with the new "taac" word which was introduced some years ago by the actor Renato Pozzetto in his movies and then became common in the use of the people of Milan area and is meant to underline a solution, a clever idea which is able to solve problems or difficult situations.
Tac is onomatopoeic like toc, splash, clang, etc.
I do not agree with her, instead, when she refuses the possibility to consider "...Dammi il sonno di un bambino. Che fa? Sogna...".
It does have a sense and it is even more obvious if a larger part of the song text is taken into consideration:
"
...E dammi il tuo vino leggero
Che hai fatto quando non c'ero
E le lenzuola di lino
Dammi il sonno di un bambino
Che fa? Sogna cavalli e si gira.
E un po' di lavoro
Fammi abbracciare una donna che stira cantando
E poi fatti un po' prendere in giro
"
The author is mentioning a list of things he's asking for [give me some wine, linen blankets, a child' sleep (What does he do? He dreams of horses and turns in bed), a job, let me embrace a woman who irons and sings...] as Clarice85 already stated.

I just listened to the song. He says "fa" (or "ta" or whatever) but surely there is no consonant after the A, so it cannot be "tac"

There are some fans of "ta":
dammi il sonno di un bambino
che "ta" sogna cavalli e si gira
