Once upon a time

Fairy tales don't exist anymore, I don't even exist anymore
The dragon is cool, and Prince Charming is sad
As we get older, we grow even further apart
You bring childhood and we become wicked
Grandma and grandpa, who tuck me into bed, singing
Are two stone crosses and stay quiet under the ground
And there was also the grove, and a river, and some lime trees
You bring childhood, you take it all from me

Verse 1:
Please, stay another moment
It would be a wonder for me to be born again on May 9
To grow up with a ball behind me on the block
To steal unripe apricots and elderflowers from gardens
To love the first snow
To stay for hours in the cold with the sleigh on the street
Do it somehow, take me back to school
So that I can corrupt all my classmates, so that we leave the classroom empty again
Take me back to about 14 years old again
So that I start rapping with dreams in my head and without money
Make my parents how they were back then
Young and good, they sheltered me
Bring me the evening stories
Which put me to sleep as wonderfully as the crickets outside
Don't wake me up anymore in this world, full of beasts
Childhood, forgive me, that I wanted to be a big man

Back then, we raged wars with blades made of nuts
And after the battles, we went to drink some juice.
Today, we hate each other seriously, through different paths
You bring childhood, and we become worse!

Verse 2:
I miss the holidays so much,
The tree in the living room, and the carolers
I miss a cup of lime tea, hey, and fairies and kites,
And flowers of frost which dressed the window in ice
I miss the books in my bedroom
And the serials we watched together as a family on TV
The best scent came from cake
That came from the hands of my dear mother!
We went to get gum with surprises, running
Now we play with books in several reprises
And we didn't know about money, evil, or need
Childhood, where did you run, come back!
You left me to grow, without stopping
And now only in my thoughts can I be a child
I see my gray hairs in the mirror, the first wrinkle
Please, give me the years back which you took so quickly!

From the porch of my mother's home, when mother spoke to me
The clouds ran from the canopy and the sun smiled
And father shattered any fears that I had from my dreams
You take childhood with my happiness

Verse 3:
Childhood, synonymous with happiness
Synonym with glow, now only a memory
The memory of the hours lost in the neighborhood
On the stairs of the block or games through the construction site (only you)
You gave me my first love
My first emotions, the first butterflies in my stomach
You are just as young, I have changed
With you I took the first punch which made me a man
And I would like to stay at the table for a good chat
For you to tell me to stay here and not run from you anymore
Hurry up, please, or else you'll be late
Don't look for me when I am no more

Maturity is hard for me, it's hard for me to be docile
I would give anything on this Earth to become a child again
