Bands or Singers involved in controversy
They have been accused of plagiarizing up to 35 songs and there are entire groups called Anti Pandas dedicated to hating on them and exposing the their alleged plagiarism. And they have been booed at several festivals and even had things thrown at them once during a performance
They were playing at the República Cromañon nightclub in 2004 when it caught fire resulting in the deaths of 194 people. República Cromañon was found to of violated several safety standards.
7 people were sentenced to prison because of the even the longest sentence being 20 years.
The band was incarcerated but has since been released. Many suspect the band encouraged the public to use flairs. A lit flare was also found to be the cause of the fire

And the biggest controversy in 1993 Varg Vikernes murdered Euronymous and was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the murder and an arson of which he only severed 15 of before being released in 2009 and moving to France. During his military service (Which all male South Koreans are required to do) he served as a conscripted police officer. In june he was found to of been smoking marijuana and that he would be prosecuted without detention. Before the trail he was found unconscious in a police barracks due to a anti-anxiety medicine overdose of prescribed benzodiazepine. At trial he plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 2 years probation. But faced no punishment. He finished his military service on July 6th 2019
