Song: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/extremo-gogiya-lyrics.html

Text in question:
Gógiya, Gógiya
Schandaúre Gógiya!
Kamar, kamar, genazwále
Schandaúre Gógiya!

Says it's "Georgian" but it doesn't look that way.

These lines appear in a Russian song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtUdyNT1vS4

Отава ë also refers to it in one of their funny songs
(if you dumped your wife, you're an ass. If your wife dumped you, you're worse than an ass :) )
The small bit they use is translated.

the word "genadzvale" even made it into Russian, apparently:
"уважительное обращение, принятое у грузин" "polite address used by Georgians"

So this must be Georgian. Or at least some phonetic approximation of it.

Then, based on the writing it should be:

გოგია, გოგია
შანდურე, გოგია!
ქამარ, ქამარ, გენაცვალე
შანდურე, გოგია

I'm pretty sure I made mistakes. [@WeaknessOfHeart] could you take a look?

Yeah, that's definitely Georgian! Gogiya is a Georgian family name https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%93%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%B8%D1%8F and "genatsvale" is, as said by the other members, a Georgian expression of sympathy.

So it's just these two words I can't verify then:

Schandaúre = შანდურე (?)
Kamar = ქამარ (?)1

  • 1. I get results back for a 'belt'.

i'm pretty sure it's gamar not kamar
since gamarjoba genatsvalle
"hello dear"
also i never heard anyone shorten gamarjoba to gamar before

გამარჯობა გენაცვალე
you can hear it at 2:53
