We worked on the song at the same time, but the keep link was posted three minutes before mine.

As far as I know, it is a poem by Natale Polci, but it is very often misattributed to Trilussa instead.
Also, the "Trilussa" version has become a sort of a "folk" poem, with various versions making changes and additions.
In "true folk songs" we no longer know the actual author nor the original version, so it's ok to have multiple versions listed here; but in this case, I think the original version is the only acceptable one. At most, we could have versions for specific performances by someone, but not one generically attributed to Trilussa and with no video to back it up.
