Hi! Can I remove envelope and bell icons from the upper right corner of the main page? Previously they usually weren't seen, appearing only in case of new private message or notifications. In the sense, to hide them, to return their behavior (visibility) as before.
[SOLVED] Envelope and bell icons
Oh wow, I actually really like that they were added despite not receiving any notifications or messages. It makes it easier for me to open messages and notifications pages. I didn't think there would be someone who wouldn't like this update. Is there a specific reason you don't want them there?
Hi,
I would agree with what you said when it was the old color (green), but they are at their best and most accurate right now. I think your situation is just an adjustment process. In general, when we see something new that didn't exist before, we usually don't like it, but right now even I can't find fault with it.

The reason they distract you is that you're used to the fact that when there's something there you have new notifications. I think we'll all get used to it.
To tell the truth, I don't quite understand, why get used to it, rather than at the user's choice select which icons appear.
@Imtwgr:
Thanks for the information about getting access easier to notifications and messages record this way.
I wouldn't have found out otherwise probably.
Excuse me once more, how in the right column "Participants" to change "Russian" to how it was before, without specifying a country, in the sense to show "active", "new", "best" among all participants? Now I can see only Russian participants in this column.
To make it clearer I add a screenshot:

The underlined icons and nationality weren't before.
Hi Proshor Proshorov,
They came with the new update. It seems everyone is using the theme in any language. (For example, because you are using Russian, people in Russian may be at any language level, for example, I can appear in your Russian tab because I write Russian as a beginner) The way to change this is to change the theme language of the theme for now. Was it a necessary update or not? It seems like a debatable situation. I'll vote undecided on this, I think that listing was organized in the wrong categories. A local "top list" (monthly/yearly/all-time stats) is probably the nicest thing I'd want.
I now see only Russians on this right tab. And earlier I’ve seen all ("best", "new",... among all). What's the meaning?
Local ranking system, no matter what language you use the theme in, you will see users in that language. I don't know why they did such a thing, but you might think that everyone is competing in their own region. In the past, that list was almost always fixed, it didn't change much. Now I see users changing like this every day and maybe hourly. What is the problem here on your side? For example, why would you prefer the old version? As I said, I don't know if you were looking there before, but that list was almost always fixed and didn't have much of a function.
The "Active" tab is a list of active users on the site, in the "New" tab you'll see people who have just joined the site, in the "Top" tab important people (usually people who put a lot of effort) We used to race globally, now we race locally (by languages).
Why do you always want new updates as before, some things are really old and need to keep up with the times, but most of your requests are backwards rather than forward-looking. It is really disturbing for us, we want these innovations and more current innovations if possible, but seeing people who don't really want them contains feelings that I can't explain. If something is bad and not really preferred, rest assured they will fix it anyway if it is unnecessary. Behaviors such as "I want the old one, the new one is bad, this is not the case" really can't do anything. I won't talk about it any more, the people who run the site already know the best way of doing something, it's not my job to teach them.
I want to see the real best, not just in my country. Even it they don't change so often.
Excuse me, I have in mind: the best among all (from all countries).
Sounds to me like someone doesn't want things to change. I have heard the opposite said too. "I want the new one, the old one is bad" even though they seem to have no idea or no clue what the new one is.
Excuse me once more, how in the right column "Participants" to change "Russian" to how it was before, without specifying a country, in the sense to show "active", "new", "best" among all participants? Now I can see only Russian participants in this column.
If you switch your interface to English, you'll see the general leaderboard, not language-specific.
