I am aware "Mit dem Kopf durch die Wand"/ "head through the wall" is an idiom, meaning basically to stubbornly pursue something regardless of consequences or odds stacked against you. However, changing it to something like 'we'll get our way no matter what', while it may emotionally fit, would lessen the impact of lines about ducking heads and speeding up into 'it'. I thought going through a wall headfirst fit a little better than just putting your head through a wall, so that's how it is for now, but if anyone has other ideas for it, I'm open to them.
