During commercial breaks short clips are shown of celebrities covering their right eye and proclaiming: "Better seeing with the Second!"

Xavier Naidoo was hugely criticized by the press after releasing this song. Members of the band were ordered to a several hour long meeting with the senior mayor of Mannheim to talk about the political motivation behind these lyrics.
Naidoo had repeatedly caught the eye of Germany's cultural watchdogs before, both from media and politics, for example when he questioned Germany's sovereignty live on state TV in 2011, or when he visited and sang at several demonstrations in Berlin on October 3rd 2014 (Day of German Unity), one headed by the far-right "Reichsbürger" group ("Citizens of the Reich", who believe that, legally, the German Reich of 1871 is still intact, and no German state afterwards was set up correctly).
