У вас много ошибок в переводе.
"Вовек" - это не in a hundred years, это never.
"But all about the same thing" - "но всё об одном и том же", хотя смысл там не в том, что они повторяют одно и то же. Лучше перевод "but still about the same thing".
"И не поймём никак" - здесь как раз не never, здесь тоже лучше still.
Aftertaste пишется вместе.
"Начать издалека" - идиоматическое выражение, переводимое не дословно, а скорее "start talking in a roundabout way".

No Sugar Please
(French: Without you the sky does not exist
Without you the snow does not fall
Without your love I am not at peace
Without your love I am not myself)
You are that river,
Which I couldn't cross even in a hundred years,
Even though I'm still trying.
Me and you, we speak in different languages,
But all about the same thing.
And we can never understand,
That one of us is already forgiven,
And the other one forgave long ago.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
Tell me the truth, the way it really is.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
No need for (french: parlez vous francais.)
You should begin with back then,
Get tangled up and repeat from the start,
While I wait for you.
Because we speak in different languages,
But all about the same thing.
And we can never understand,
That one of us is already forgiven,
And the other one forgave long ago.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
Tell me the truth, the way it really is.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
No need for (french: you speaking in French)
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
Tell me the truth, the way it really is.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
No need for (french: you speaking in French)
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
Tell me the truth, the way it really is.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
No need for (french: you speaking in French)
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,
Tell me the truth, the way it really is.
The after taste is bitter, but no sugar please,

Russia is waging a disgraceful war on Ukraine. Sta achter Oekraïne!
Side note:
The use of French in this song is most likely to act as a contrast to Russian language. As Russian is quite rough and French opposing to it quite tender, we might say it is sweet, and so the line " no need for parlez vous francais " goes very well with the title and the whole point of the song: "No Sugar Please". What the poet perhaps was trying to say was: "don't cover up your bitter truth with the sweetness of the French language"
