Mary Jane

I spent my darkest hours surrounded by flowers,
Trays on the side where trade the poison for power,
Running a coward, from the same street's where Rigby died,
Money makes the world 360, 365, *[1]
So we have to chase it, right?
Correct, 'till you're breath throws your breath (?),
You're next step is undecided? Opinion divided?
We slangin' stones that's David Goliath, *[2]
Two flies in the livin' (?), we started a riot,
I thought I'm burning the fire, but wait woah (woah),

Like Spiderman I kiss that Mary Jane,
Going on my knees praying for some better days,
Thoughts are screaming, hopin' one day we be seein' what we dreamin' got a fiendin' we see blow like the Mary Jane,

Every day I be flowing like a severed vein,
Hopin' I could better pay with sunshine without the rain,
What's right without to be,
What's hustlin' though without your team,
What's livin' large without a dream,
What stakes would right a killer be (?),
Incomplete.
Put this track on repeat,
When your song's like a fung *[3] when I be, dawg I push it to the side,
Nigga's movin' wrong on the street,
Got dunces chasin' dunces, just repeat,
And you thought that he would ride,

Like Spiderman I kiss that Mary Jane,
Going on my knees praying for some better days,
Thoughts are screaming, hopin' one day we be seein' what we dreamin' got a fiendin' we see blow like the Mary Jane,

Bedankt!

Submitter's comments:

*[1] - This is referring to doing a 360, which is 360 degrees of a circle. The 365 refers to the days in a year, 365. So, money makes the world "spin" "all year long."

*[2] - David and Goliath is a story in the Bible where a small boy (David) killed a giant who was said to be 11 feet tall (Goliath) by hurling stones in a slingshot at him. The "stones" here in this song is referring to drugs however, which could be cocaine, xanax, or any other drug that is commonly transported in a brick-type fashion, i.e. stones.

*[3] - Fung seems to be short for fungus in British English, as far as I can tell.

T/N - "Mary Jane" is another name for weed, or marijuana.
