Oh dear, Nadia, another rule completely unknown to me! Could you please tell me where to find it? I tried it with the search function but couldn't find anything. Unfortunately, the current video doesn't quite match my intention, so I deleted it - by myself this time! Somehow I'm getting used to it... 😘

Yes, I know, but what I don't know is the rule for deleting my original video.

I don’t know that Nadia really had to delete your video - sounds like an overkill to me. When our Zhenya has time, he could take images from your video and add some music you prefer and make one of his artworks!

Vera, I'm sorry. I couldn't guess you wouldn't have a link to your previous video. You can find it if you search your logbook for videos. But anyway, it can't be posted as is if it's a song with different lyrics. Only instrumental videos are allowed to accompany poems or it must be a performance of the same lyrics. Looks logical to me. Anyway, sorry once more.

Nadia, the rule makes sense until one doesn’t want it. Before, it was annoying that instrumentals weren’t allowed.
Plus, I misunderstood Vera to begin with.

Instrumentals or music without lyrics shouldn't be posted on LT, only songs with lyrics (even one line) should be published.

1. Your own poem provides lyrics to the instrumental video. On the other hand, if you publish a song on the video with its own lyrics you must publish the lyrics to the song, not your poem. But you can publish the song in other than video space, in your comments, for instance.

As far as I can see, your "rule" is nothing else than a personal interpretation of the mentioned site-rule "Instrumentals or music without lyrics shouldn't be posted on LT".

Nadia, the video is just to underline what the poem is trying to say! So, there is an exact correspondence between the video and my poem. It has nothing to do with the original intention of the established rule regarding translations. So in my opinion the mentioned rule is not applicable here!

Nadia, the point is that more and more of me is being deleted here, with reference to existing rules (must contain words), completely new rules (no numbers) or rules that are not applicable at all (no videos WITHOUT words).
But even when I write poems WITH words, as "Corona 48: Love & War & Dollars", they become unpublished with the remark: "No poem!" Who has the right to decide that! And above all - why is the decision made like this? Due to the intervention of which reader?
The rule you mentioned was introduced as far as I understand it to prevent only instrumental pieces from being published on a translation site. And that makes sense, of course!
But here it is not about instrumentals or translations, it is about poems and their corresponding visualization through a video, that's something completely different.
The rule says clearly: "Instrumentals or music without lyrics shouldn't be posted on LT"
The video in the present case has words, so it is no violation of the rules!
👉 So, I'm still waiting for your link to the rule that it is not allowed to post text videos for own poems!
As long as that is not the case, I ask you kindly to leave my work untouched!

Why do any rules exist what an artist can put on his/her own page especially a creator as respected and admired as Vera.
If the rules have valid reasons for existence ( I can't think of any) let's discuss those and if they don't make sense let's get rid of them.
I am not even talking about somebody deciding what's a poem and what's not.
Nadia, if I'm not mistaken you consider Malevich's Black Square a legitimate piece of art. So who has the right to decide that it is not? Nobody.

It is important for me to stress that I try to obey all the rules here, first of all because they are mostly very appropriate. But I do also obey the other rules (no numbers or symbols), although we could (and should) discuss them of course.
But it is obvious that I cannot obey or respect not existing rules (as in this case) or rules which has been installed afterwards.

Oh, Vera, bitte schön.
I am an extremist of sorts but IMO my extremism often makes a lot of sense. So I would suggest an Ultimate Rule that would read like this:
"If LT has a rule ( let's call it rule A) that gets in the way of Vera's creativity, then rule A has to be immediately canceled" I would take upon myself to build the public support for the passing of this Ultimate Rule.

Let's stay together, let's stay friends, whatever will happen, how hard it will come, lets respect each other and all sort of poetry with or without words, and moreover all sorts of dinosaurs, still living or extinct! 💗🦖

А Вера напишет поэму "Игорь Львиное Сердце в крестовом походе", Диана нарисует картинку, Женя сделает видео, Надя переведет на английский, Инна на французский, Пинхус напишет пародию, Ира споет, Маша рассмешит, Андрюша всех пошлет = затем придет Айси и все выбросит в помойку.
