Es brennt (tłumaczenie na angielski)

tłumaczenie na angielskiangielski

It burns

You're supposed to shovel heavy coal from morning to night
You're supposed to function well, bite your lip
You're supposed to not think, success shall please you
You're supposed to please and only kiss great asses
It burns, it burns
Out of the cradle the kid screams
It burns, it burns
Where dark nights are light
You're supposed to concentrate, so the cash box is filling
You're supposed to keep silent humbly,
You're supposed to overlook the rule of three at once
You're supposed to bend down, stretch, everyone can fuck you
Sleep, little child, sleep now
You'll be happy over there
Silent now, close your eyes
Then your little heart finally can rest
The cradle is burning, the woods are burning
Have to warm myself, I'm so cold
Inflame a little light for me
Can't sleep when it's dark
It burns, it burns
Out of the cradle the kid screams
It burns, it burns
Where dark nights are light

I don't suppose you have any idea what "Rule of Three" he's referring to?

It refers to mathematics, the line means that you're supposed to understand it at once.

Ah. I see. What is the "rule of three," exactly?

It's a bit hard for me to explain in English... it's a proportional equation, a / b = c / d, that can be cross-multiplied to calculate any of the values. It comes in handy if you need e.g. to calculate percentages. Example: you want to know 15% of 200 (that's easy to work out in the head; 30): x = 200 / 100 * 15

Alright. I'm bad at math and words. I'll look into it later.
