I have no buisiness in the market, I only passed by to see you

I have been thirsty for some water for years, and my thirst is quenched at your sight

Even the fish in the waters, they cry for my circumstances

I wander around and look for you, yet you elude me and torment me

What have I done to you, O, you who desire me not?

I want to cross two bridges, Karkh 1 and Rasafa 2

And ask about the beloved, who saw him
