Scherben (tłumaczenie na angielski)

tłumaczenie na angielskiangielski

A road of shards breaks, the mind disintegrates
Which places a hurdle in the night of time1
What's the use of pleading? Poison our world2
Dying stars break the cope of heaven
Too bad I can only see shards
A river bursts before you like a dead vein
It leaves drought and decay
The grass turns into grief
Sweet green will die to solitude
The fruits rot as if they never wanted to live
No rain falls in the paradise of drought
Nobody has earned it
"Men I do not love. Man is a thing too imperfect for me. Love of man would be fatal to me. It amounts to the absurd valuation: to have any right to be, the character of existence would have to give the philosopher pleasure. Could it be possible?! This old saint in the forest has not yet heard of it, that God is dead! Everything goes, everything returns; eternally rolls the wheel of existence. Everything dies, everything blossoms forth again; eternally runs on the year of existence." (– Thus Spoke Zarathustra)3

  • 1. Not sure about this. I also cannot figure out what this line might mean in German. If a native speaker could help me out here, that'd be great.
  • 2. This seems like two sentences in one. "Was hilft ein Flehen?" (what's the use of pleading?) and "Ein Flehen vergiftet unsere Welt" (pleading poisons our world), but I'm not sure. Again, a native's help would be great.
  • 3. I took the translations from the translated versions. See the author's comment box for the links.
