Shout to the Lord (tłumaczenie na perski)

Shout to the Lord

My Jesus, my saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my day I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love
My comfort, my shelter
Tower's of refuge and strength
Let every breath
All that I am
Never ceases to worship You
Shout to the Lord
All the earth let us sing
Power and majesty praise to the king
Mountains bow down
And the seas will roars
At the sound of Your name
I sing for Joy
At the work of your hands
Forever I'll love You, forevere I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promises I have in You

Komentarz autora:

The pronunciation is pretty straightforward. Oe is pronounced like oo.

Please write Persian in Farsi script. What you did here was not a translation, but a Transliteration.

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    śr., 26/02/2020 - 23:35

I'm sorry, Alma. I don't have a Farsi keyboard. But I think it is a beautiful language!

Alma BarrocaAlma Barroca    śr., 26/02/2020 - 23:37

No problem. I changed the language into 'Transliteration' now. Another user who is able to write in Farsi can now add a proper Persian translation.

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    śr., 26/02/2020 - 23:40

I will add Arabic next, so please, when it comes up, change it to transliteration as well. Are you learning Farsi as well?

Alma BarrocaAlma Barroca    śr., 26/02/2020 - 23:51

You can select 'Transliteration' as language.

Thank you. I think it's weird they say Persian as a tag and not Farsi. I mean, Farsi is more specific; Dari is also a form of Modern Persian.

ScieraSciera    czw., 27/02/2020 - 21:00

Hm, I would nevertheless argue for categorizing it as Persian. That way it's easier to find it when one searches for such a translation. And otherwise, there would be many cases where it's nowhere specified which language it is.

Regarding the term Farsi - I assume we call it Persian since English speakers are more familiar with that term and might not find the category otherwise.

True thing. I didn't think about that. Then I guess we can recategorize it.

I’m a native Persian and as far as I’m concerned Farsi has 4 types:
Persian that is spoken in Iran with almost 100 million speakers
Dari that is spoken in Afghanistan with 40 million speakers I think
Tajik that is spoken in Tajikistan with less than 10 million speakers as I know
Classic Persian that is a poetic language now

Well, I would love to learn it!🎈✨🎇🎆🎉🎊🎀🎁🍄🍐🍉🍇🍒🍅🍅🌽

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    wt., 03/03/2020 - 22:47

Arabic, Persian and Turkish have got many words in common therefore If you learn one of them you can catch the others sooner than you think 😃☺️ Trust me I know all of them

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:17

Someday I will, too, but when I go to Japan, everyone will think I'm weird.🌋🌋🌋

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:20

No,It’s normal don’t worry. I’ve got no idea about Japes but about Middle East I can help 🙂💐

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:25

Well, I know Japanese and want to go to Japan. Some say it's illegal to teach Arabic and Persian in Japan, although I have a Japanese friend and she said that is not true.

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:29

My Classic Persian teacher in high school was living in Japan for three years and he was teaching Persian there.

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:43

Good! We read that thing on the news, and apparently it was a new thing. My Japanese friend Yoko hasn't lived in Japan since 1983.

Hi. Are you able to transliterate the lyrics into Persian script?

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:03

Yeah sure I know both alphabets (Arabic & Latin) but I prefer to translate. I think Translation is creation but transliteration isn’t. Finally If you need my help I can help you with transliteration 🙂☘️

Alma BarrocaAlma Barroca    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:10

Would you mind providing a Persian translation (with Arabic letters)? I don't speak the language, but this translation here, as I have previously said, is actually a transliteration.

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    wt., 03/03/2020 - 23:15

I understand. You want it to be in This alphabet الفبای فارسی
Isn't it your saying?

ScieraSciera    sob., 07/03/2020 - 17:41

Thanks for that information, Davoudi2200
According to Wikipedia, Farsi is mainly the term for the Persian spoken in Iran, though?
In any case, originally it's just the Persian word for Persian anyway.

Davoudi2200Davoudi2200    sob., 07/03/2020 - 18:06

Hello Sciera! It’s my honor to talk to you
That’s true Farsi(or Parsi) is a Persian word for Persian.
I don’t know about wiki but as a native I can assure you the Persian version used in Iran is called Farsi; In other words when you say Farsi you refer to a branch of Persian that is spoken in Iran.
As my first language is Persian and Azerbaijani and my second is Turkish you can ask me anything about this languages 😊🙏🏻 Be well

KuduCutie34KuduCutie34    pt., 28/02/2020 - 02:30

I got kind of lost because I searched for Farsi first.
