Στην Αινειάδα του Βιργιλίου επίσης υπάρχει η φράση "sic itur ad astra" ( τέτοιος είναι ο δρόμος που οδηγεί στα αστέρια) και " opta ardua pennis astra sequi" ( διακαής επιθυμία να φτάσει κανείς με τα φτερά του ψηλά στα αστέρια) ενώ στο Σενέκα ( Ηρακλής) η φράση έχει ως εξής : " non est ad astra mollis e terris via" ( δεν υπάρχει εύκολος δρόμος που να οδηγεί στα αστέρια).
