Lol, by chance I heard a talk on that last weekend, and the scholar considered it a completely a-linguistic decision that this is officially a language.
But well, it is a sub-dialect of Central German with much Polish influence, so why not...

Well we have categories for dialects of other languages. Always a subjective matter to decide whether something needs a category or not.

I've requested categories for Forro Creole and Cree.

They are at least no standard Japanese. According to the Wikipedia entry of the artist, they, and the song we thought is in Okinawan, are in the dialect of the Amami islands, not the Okinawan spoken in the southern half of the Okinawan island. Both seem to be Northern Ryukyuan languages, though.

Well, then we have 3 songs in Amami.

I ask because according to Wikipedia, Tundra and Forest Nenets are two related but mutually unintelligible languages. Also Mari and Komi seem to refer to more than one variety each, but the Wikipedia entries didn't stress very much that they would be very different.

Well, Kashubian is devided either into 3 main dialects (Northers, Middle and Southern, each divided into many smaller dialects) or 5 (Bylacki; Słowinski [extinct]; Kabatków [extinct]; Zaborski; Tucholski and Krajniacki considered as one "category" and being a mix between Kashubian and Greater Polish so they're hard to classify if they're dialcts of Kashubian or Polish). I honestly don't know which division system is better.
For Rusyn I know there's Pannonian Rusyn from Vojvodina, Serbia and Croatia and Carpathian Rusyn, spoken in Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Romania. I know there are 3 ways of writing in it Cyrillic - Lemko, Slovak and the one of Vojvodina.

I don't think so. The rules state identical entries can stay if there's a visual support that shows that they've been modified in some way. One is a poem, the other is a song based on the poem, I guess the difference is enough to justify the presence of both.
