This... isn't Spanish?... Just sounds like a bunch of Spanish-sounding words, it's really confusing.

Well...this is awkward. What language is it, then? There are several Croatian phrases as well.

I think it's a made up language. If it were a romance language, I'd surely be able to figure out which one, but this doesn't sound like a natural language. It's most likely supposed to sound the way Spanish sounds to Croatians.

That's not Spanish. Maybe there are couple of words like "tengo - mona - bomba - perdona - chupa - pero" but...no, is not 🤣

I think the easiest way to translate this song would be translating it from "brutalero language" to standard Croatian or standard Spanish whatever works better. Sadly my Spanish is quite limited. I may try with Croat one. From there working out English and any other language should be easy.

Give me 2 days :P

It's not gibberish. It's just made up language, doesn't mean it cannot be understood.

Yes. I know about dalmatian phrases. I used to date a person from the area for quite a while so I got a little bit of language in the process. I am not a fan of Luka either. My favourite for Dora was Elis Lovric and "All I Really Want", but I do have to admit that "Brutalero" is quite a genius song lyricwise. I don't think it has no meaning. You can clearly see a pattern in here. "Balcanero" "Amorero" "Brutalero" all sound like an adjective made up from quite obvious words.

It goes further than that. I think the song indeed has a meaning. I even managed to translate it to my native language (I didn't post it because someone may think there's too much self-invention.) trying to track a root for every word using spanish, latin and croatian dictionaries. If you do that I guarantee you the song will become much clearer.

To be fair the only words I couldn't find meaning this way - were "sero" and "pero". I still ain't got a clue. It might be just random filler rhyme but I hope it's not considering every other word actually does mean something.

The lyrics I assembled suggest it's a song about good-lucking, wise, romantic, tough, talented guy and I feel it goes well with performance Luka delivered - I mean he "dresses" as superman. Can you really argue with that?

I cannot accept calling it "without a meaning" in fact it's one of the most well-thought songs of Dora. He'd be a great representative, with that song. Certainly better than stale "The Dream"

Regarding the rap part - I honestly prefer it weren't there. The song is transparent enough without it.

Thanks for ignoring every statement I made. Just to nitpick me on some word.

I have a right to disagree - and that's how the discussion works. And if you didn't write a comment to discuss then I don't know why you did write at all. What makes your opinion more relevant than mine? I cannot accept it basically means I disagree with you. I don't have to agree. I shared some points to support my opinion and that's it. I am not attacking you anyhow if that's what you're suggesting. Why so touchy?
